March into dance! Students of all ages will work with Goh Ballet Bayview's award-winning faculty to advance technique, musicality and artistry during these new March Break programs taking place from March 13-17, 2023.

Dance at the Magic Treehouse (Ages 3-6)

March 13-17, 2023
Ages 3-6

From March 13-17, little dancers ages 3-6 can join Goh Ballet for a dance adventure in our Magic Treehouse March Break Program. Let your little dancer's imagination be dazzled with movements, music & story magic as they celebrate dance, art & nature through characterization. Every day we will explore whimsical creativity in the branches of the Treehouse, from making colourful crafts to dancing around the enchanted studios.

Theme: Celebrate Nature

Budding dancers will blossom as we celebrate all the joys of Springtime through dance. Get ready to twirl to the song of the birds chirping; Jump to the rhythm of the Woodpecker pecking; and skip by the sparkling springs.

Just Dance (Ages 7-10)

March 13-17, 2023
Ages 7-10

Goh Ballet is excited to premiere our March break program dedicated for students ages 7-10. This fun-filled full-day program over the course of five days will captivate your curiosity! Budding artists will experience a variety of dance styles, get crafty, and create cool video content to share, all while making new friends in our state-of-the-art facilities.

Class sizes are limited, so be sure to register early to avoid disappointment!

Theme 5-6-7-8 Goh Dance!
When: 9:15AM-3:30PM (full-day)
What: Ballet, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Arts and Crafts, Video Content Creation.

Featuring:

Ballet

Students will learn ballet technique, mime, dancing with props and acting to music, all whilst gaining new ballet vocabulary to support their best technical progress.

Musical Theatre:

Your Musical Theatre classes will center around creating characters while incorporating style, acting and complete performance into fun choreography.

Get out of your comfort zone, build self-confidence and become a more well-rounded performer!

Jazz:

5-6-7-8-GOH 1! Students will be led through energetic movements that train flexibility, core strength and stylistic flair. Let’s kick high to the sky with classes that will include cardio, conditioning, and choreography, danced to the pumping music of some of today’s hottest tunes. Gain the power to perform explosive leaps balanced with muscle control and pizzazz.

Lyrical Movement:

Lyrical dance is a style that embodies various aspects of ballet, jazz, acrobatics, and modern dance. Combining ballet technique with the freedom and musicality of jazz and contemporary, lyrical dance uses displayed emotional moods, fast-moving choreographic strategies, and illustration of song lyrics. Dance full out with feeling!
