Nurturing the development of innovation and evolving dynamics with the finest teaching traditions, the Goh Ballet Summer 2012 programs are a once in a lifetime opportunity. Work with internationally renowned dance luminaries including

  • Evelyn Hart, Canadian Walk of Fame Awardee & former Prima Ballerina of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet

Plus, our award winning faculty under the direction of Chan Hon Goh, former Principal Dancer of the National Ballet of Canada.

Performance Workshop

This 10 day workshop cultivates artistry and coaches students to access different characterizations that bring roles to life. Teachers aim to inspire the essence of performing Pas de Deux, Variations and Repertoire from different periods of dance history. Curriculum also includes Character, Acting and Professional Makeup and Hair Techniques. Classes are available for dancers ages 12 and up.

International Summer Intensive

Ballet students from all over the world audition for the Goh Ballet’s International Summer Intensive. The most proficient of students are accepted to study in this highly anticipated annual program. The Summer Intensive curriculum includes Ballet Technique, Men’s Work, Pointe, Repertoire, Variations, Pas de Deux, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Pilates. Additional seminars on dance related topics may include Dance History, Music, Nutrition and proper pointe shoe care. Classes are taught by international guest instructors as well as Goh Ballet’s award winning and RAD certified annual faculty and are accompanied by professional pianists. Class sizes are limited.

Variations and Pas de Deux Coaching

A goal oriented course to enable students to reach new heights, sessions are dedicated for Competitions, Festivals and Professional Development. Classes stimulate students to better their technique and artistry with a fuller comprehension from detailed coaching specific to Variations and/or Pas de Deux. A daily Ballet class prepares students for their tailored sessions and individualized attention. Attendees are encouraged to come with certain Variations they would like to work on and receive coaching for.
