Junior School
The Goh Ballet Junior School provides dance training and education to students ranging in age from four to seventeen. The Junior School fosters creativity, discipline, self-confidence and independent thinking, while promoting the health and well-being of aspiring dancers. Students enrolled in this program will learn the art of movement, coordination and the specific demands that come with dedicated dance training. The Junior School programs are designed and tailored to motivate and challenge students of each age while enhancing expression, musicality, movement quality, flexibility, body conditioning, and the understanding of ballet concepts and proper execution of steps in the ballet vocabulary.
Assessments and Auditions
Assessments or auditions are by appointment only. Students are evaluated on an individual basis. Children who have little or no ballet training generally do not require an assessment. Students with previous training will be assessed by one of the Goh Ballet faculty members to ensure placement in the appropriate level.
