Goh Ballet Youth Company Canada Open Audition
The GBYC is a program administered by the Goh Ballet Academy for young dancers who wish to pursue a professional career. The GBYC aims to nurture young dancers in fulfilling their aspirations for a career in the professional dance industry. This year, the Company will accept male & female dancers ages 16 to 24 years with advance level of training & performance ability, for two categories: Members & Apprentices.
Members will be regarded as the Company Dancers & Apprentices will take part alongside Members to further their skills & knowledge. Apprentices will take the year to further develop their techniques & explore collaboration with the more advanced dancers. Members & Apprentices will be guided & expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
Successful candidates invited to join the Goh Ballet Youth Company as a Member of the Company will receive a contract & be paid and honorarium for each performance the Company engages in. Dancers accepted into the GBYC must be available to participate in this full-time training program.
