Canada’s Goh Ballet Youth Company

As Canada’s professional youth ballet organization, the Goh Ballet Youth Company (GBYC) was formed to further advance a student’s professional training and performance experience. The GBYC offers dancers the opportunity to refine their technical and artistic training while providing the necessary support and guidance to pursue a rewarding career in dance anywhere in the world. Acceptance into the GBYC is by audition only.


Mission

The Vancouver Goh Ballet Youth Company aims to:
  • Give dancers the opportunity to perform locally and internationally in a professional setting
  • Provide dancers with a broad knowledge of the dance world
  • Teach dancers the appropriate rehearsal etiquette, coping strategies, work ethic and personal responsibilities expected of professional dancers
  • Develop dedication and passion within dancers
  • Assist dancers in transitioning from student to professional
